The evolution of Carol Danvers from a colonel in the United States Air Force to becoming the iconic Captain Marvel is an amazing adventure. Kelly Sue DeConnick defined this character in Captain Marvel volumes 7 & 8. Her legacy continues with Captain Marvel volume 9, A-Force volume 2, and The Ultimates volume 2.
Additionally a new hero has taken on Danver’s old persona of Ms. Marvel. This new hero, Kamala Khan, has captured the hearts of comic book reads. She’s a new hero for a new age.
